Benvenuti nel mio blog dedicato soprattutto all'Eurovision Song Contest!
Anzi, è aumentata a dismisura.
Eurosaluti a tutti voi!
P.s. Sì, sono state già scelte 23 canzoni. Ho taaanto da scrivere! (Sì, è una minaccia)
P.p.s. Cattivi).

First semifinal: my predictions and my Eurovision
Tomorrow is the kick-off of the Eurovision. I have not seen the rehearsal, but I try to formulate my thoughts, my opinions and my ideals qualified for the first semifinal. But as often happens, my views may change after the live show. We'll see if it happens again this time.
MOLDOVA - EDUARD ROMANYUTA - I WANT YOUR LOVE
Ukraine is not taking part in this edition, but there is a Ukrainian singer to represent Moldova. He seems like a very cheerful guy, the performance during the Moldovan national selection was convincing. The song would be Top 10 in the early 2000s (see the victory of Marie N in 2002 with I Wanna), but now...
We'll see, we cross our fingers and hope to see him again in the final.

ARMENIA - GENEALOGY - FACE THE SHADOW
Very nice idea that is behind the group representing Armenia. The song is probably not what we would call a masterpiece, but if the live performance will follow the guidelines of the official video ... it will be something very, very impressive. An inner enrichment, it deserves the final.

My Eurovision: Qualified
BELGIUM - LOIC NOTTET - RHYTHM INSIDE
Ok, I admit, sometimes I walk around and I start humming "We're gonna ra-pa-pa-pa tonight". The song is very strong and compelling. Loic then is so good !!

My Eurovision: Qualified
THE NETHERLANDS - TRIJNTJE OOSTERHUIS - WALK ALONG
It was one of the first songs revealed and at the beginning I have to say that I liked. But then, hearing it too many times ... why, aji aji aji became annoying, but she's a good singer.

FINLAND - PKN - AINA MUN PITAA

FINLAND - PKN - AINA MUN PITAA
One of the most beautiful messages of this edition. Unlike what many think, for me, the song is not bad. But it is not my cup of tea, as the British says.
My prediction: Eliminated
My Eurovision: Eliminated
GREECE - MARIA ELENA KYRIAKOU - ONE LAST BREATH
Come on and rise up, rise up to the sky ... ah no, rude awakening. Greece submitted a ballad, a ballad that has nothing special. Maria, however, seems to have a very powerful voice.
My prediction: Qualified

ESTONIA - ELINA & STIG - GOODBYE TO YESTERDAY
I'm in love with this song, I have to declare to the whole world. I do not know if it is due to my wonderful experience in Tallinn last year, but it would be nice if Elina and Stig bring the event in Estonia. It must be said that the selection of Estonia was very well supplied this year, also Daniel Levi was very cool. I do not know how they have structured their performance, but I'm sure it will be amazing

MACEDONIA - DANIEL KAJMAKOSKI - AUTUMN LEAVES
This song was really perfect beginning. Then they decided to translate it into English. Tell me why?

My Eurovision: Eliminated
SERBIA - BOJANA STAMENOV - BEAUTY NEVER LIES
Even friends of Serbia have translated the beautiful Ceo Svet je moj in an atypical Beauty never lies, but Bojana is so good and deserves however the final.
My prediction: Eliminated
My Eurovision: Qualified
HUNGARY - BOGGIE - WARS FOR NOTHING
At first I found the song very boring. Then, surrounded by the silence, I heard it at night. I was surrounded by a massive amount of magic. I love it.

BELARUS - UZARI feat. MAIMUNA - TIME
I loved Uzari already during a national final a few years ago and I'm glad that finally he did it. The chorus is so catchy!
My prediction: Qualified
My Eurovision: Qualified
RUSSIA - POLINA GAGARINA - A MILLION VOICES
This is a ballad built very well and Polina Gagarina is a true champion. Russia is moving towards another Top 10.
My prediction: Qualified

DENMARK - ANTI SOCIAL MEDIA - THE WAY YOU ARE
A song ... funny, enjoyable and catchy.
My prediction: Qualified
My Eurovision: Qualified
ALBANIA - ELHAIDA DANI - I'M ALIVE
Elhaida is Albanian, but she was the first winner of The Voice of Italy. I rooted for her and Diell during the Festival Kenges. At first I was disappointed to see "Diell" seduced and abandoned, but I'm alive is a most beautiful song and fits Eurovision. Great choice.
My prediction: Qualified
My Eurovision: Qualified
ROMANIA - VOLTAJ - DE LA CAPAT
The message of the song by the Romanian friends is really nice and deep, but the song does not convince me to the end. The Voltaj, however, remind me of an Italian band: Modà
My prediction: Qualified
My Eurovision: Eliminated
GEORGIA - NINA SUBLATTI - WARRIOR
Here is the first Warrior of the competition, as well as the one that convinces me more.

The Eurovision is back, my blog is back (in English)
Hello! My name is Domenico, I'm 20 years and I am an Italian guy. As you can well see, the first two articles of the blog are in Italian. But then I left the blog alone, and I have not updated it. Behold, I am back in the week of the Eurovision Song Contest and decided to change the language of the blog: now we speak in English. I decided to do it to try to improve my English level (so do not laugh at my mistakes) and, above all, to broaden the audience of readers. What can I say... this is the week of the Eurovision, but you already know. I should introduce myself completely, it is true. But there is time to do it.

Editoriale: We are one!
